SET Energy

The Solar College Initiative (SCI) is the largest SET project to-date. We are working with a team of solar professionals, including project founder Dr. Jacob Travis of Cleveland, OH, and a number of staff based in California, to launch SCI on scores of campuses this Fall. The pilot campuses SET is focused on are in the states of New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina.

So far, we have over 200 students signed up from ~150 campuses. The more campuses we connect, the more we will be able to drive a solar energy revolution across the country and beyond. As you can see on SET’s blog, the price of solar is falling dramatically in 2009. Our nation’s campuses deserve to benefit from this historic opportunity to deploy affordable, clean energy.
